The course starts in Gad Valley at 7900 ft. The course goes by Baby Thunder Trail, up the Gad Va.lley Summer Road and on to Rothman Way at 8645 ft. The course continues going up Peruvian Gulch Trail starting at 9125 ft. From there the switch backs lead ​​​​the course to finish at Hidden Peak 11,000 ft. in altitude.

​Awards presentation

​​On top of Hidden Peak, awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group, food, massages by Revive, live music by Kevin Dern, our social hour where we kick back before taking the Tram down to continue the Fun at Oktoberfest.   What a morning. :)

Update: Hidden Peak Challenge and Widow Maker Snowbird Sept. 16th. Check-in starts at 9:00 AM. Hidden Peak Challenge starts at 10:00 AM at the Information Bridge. The Widow Maker starts at 10:30 AM in Gad Valley.

Registration is still open pass the word.

If you registered after 9/10, your bib number will be at the check in tent. Those of you who registered prior to 9/10, should have received your number in the mail.

If you ordered a T-shirt, you will be able to pick it up at the start of the race. If you registered after 9/10, and ordered a shirt, it will be mailed to you in one week.

Attached is a waiver (pdf). Snowbird requires that every participant fill it out, sign and put your bib # on the waiver. Bring it to the check-in tent at the Information Bridge. The Widow Maker starts in Gad Valley at 10:30 AM. If having family or friends meet you at the top of Hidden Peak, the only free Tram ride going up will leave at 10:00 PM.

Don't forget to bring your Bib-Chip number to the race.

Healthy snacks, massages, social hour and kick-back time will be at the top of Hidden Peak.

This is the perfect climb with 3000 vertical feet of riding. The location could not be more beautiful, the price is right, the ride down the tram is breath taking and Oktoberfest is in full swing. Now it's time to sign up for the Widow Maker Mt. Bike Hill Clinb because you can. :)

​​After the race we gather at the top of Hidden Peak for our social hour with a beautiful view of the Rockies and the scenic view of the valley. There we will have snacks of all kinds, juice and coffee during Sports-Am's awards presentation to all division winners,  Afterwards, a gental ride down the Tram to the Snowbird Plaza and enjoy Oktoberfet and time to kick back
